Glenn Conway – Attorney

Glenn Conway joined Capua Law in January of 2023 and focuses his practice with the firm on construction and business litigation. Originally from New Haven, Connecticut, Glenn’s relocation to North Carolina also heralded a shift in his legal focus. In his prior practice, Glenn primarily worked on criminal defense, civil rights, and police misconduct matters.

Glenn attended the University of Connecticut School of Law, graduating in 1997, and graduates Summa Cum Laude with a BS from University f Connecticut in 1993. He holds a Federal Bar License as well as Licenses in the states of North Carolina and Connecticut.

Over the course of his career, he has obtained approximately 100 jury verdicts- ranging from State Criminal, State Civil, Federal Civil Rights, to Federal Employment Discrimination. Further, Glenn has briefed and argued over half a dozen cases before the Connecticut State Appellate and Supreme Courts.

One such example is Federal Civil Rights Case Berg v. Sorbo (https://casetext.com/case/berg-v-sorbo-1) in which Conway and attorney Kevin Smith successfully defended a federal civil rights lawsuit alleging that their client was falsely arrested. The case received extensive press coverage in Connecticut.
