Joshua J. Teague – Attorney

Josh Teague joined Capua Law in 2019, bringing with him over a decade of experience representing clients in a variety of civil and criminal matters in District and Superior Courts in the 23rd and 24th Judicial District of North Carolina. Areas of focus include business formations, contract preparation, trust and estate planning, immigration, civil rights and criminal and juvenile defense. Since 2017, he has expanded his practice into Buncombe County.

Mr. Teague is dedicated to broadening Capua Law’s presence and outreach to Asheville, Buncombe and the surrounding counties. He is also active in a variety of areas of advocacy, ranging from his role as Board Chair of the Mediation and Restorative Justice Center, to his work as a Guardian ad Litem and a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, among many others.

Mr. Teague was honored to be voted, “Best of the Best” Attorney in Watauga County in 2016 (Watauga Democrat). He holds a Bachelors of Science, Political Science, from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, and graduated in 2007 from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, NC with his Juris Doctor degree. He is available to meet with clients in both our Boone and Asheville offices.
